"This track is about trauma, survival and pushing back against the injustices of the world. Despite society's desire for tales of poetic justice and "perfect" victims, this is seldom the reality for those who live through such experiences. Survival is rarely poetic and those who do survive traumatic events are rarely left unscathed. This song is therefore also about pushing back against such warped societal expectations."
